Joe Hogan is an experienced technology entrepreneur, investor and advisor. Joe is the founder of the Openet Telecoms Group which has 750 employees and provides 5G software to help run some of the world’s largest 5G mobile networks. Openet was recently acquired by U.S. software company Amdocs (Nasdaq:DOX).
Joe has been recognised with a number of awards for entrepreneurship including the EY Irish Entrepreneur of the Year (2011), Tech Tour Europe Entrepreneur of the year (2013) and IBEC Irish Technology person of the year (2018). He lives in Dublin and currently invests in and sits on the board of several Irish technology companies.

Eugene O’Reilly is the founder and Chairman of Hyundai Cars Ireland Ltd. Under his leadership, Hyundai has consistently been among the top three selling brands in the nation over the past decade. It also obtained the highest market share of any European country.
Eugene was a joint partner of our CEO Colm Menton in the operation of Europcar Ireland and the GoCar carsharing service, both of which were leaders in their respective sectors upon being sold in 2016.

Colm Mention has spearheaded some of the most successful and innovative European automotive and mobility companies of the last three decades. Colm is the former owner and CEO of Europcar Ireland and during his 20-year stewardship the franchise’s annual revenues increased from €200,000 to almost €60m. He also played a key role in the development of GoCar, Europe’s most profitable carsharing company.
In co-founding RentalMatics, Colm was once again ahead of the curve in recognising the need to integrate transformative technologies into global fleet management. Colm is a serial angel investor and continues to champion the trailblazing start-ups that are defining the present and future of mobility.
CTO & Cofounder
Thomas Brady is the chief architect of our telematics software and oversees all R&D, product management and architecture for RentalMatics. As CTO, Thomas provides the vision for our innovative solutions, applications and platforms. Thomas, who is also a technology and patent specialist, was a product architect at Openet Telecoms prior to designing our SaaS solution.
With a PhD in high-performance computing, Thomas has been a guest lecturer and invited expert speaker at third-level institutions such as University College Dublin and authored several published papers and patents on the topics of cloud computing and The Internet of things (IoT).
John Menton is a tech investor and expert in commercial and corporate law who previously served on the Board of Directors for the Irish subsidiaries of PayPal, Cisco, Gap, and Rackspace.
A former partner at the Arthur Cox legal firm, John spent 27 years in their New York and Dublin offices and was head of their Technologies and Life Sciences group as well as the Corporate and Commercial departments. He has also successfully advised technology firms on raising venture capital and global companies with intellectual property assets on commercial arrangements. John is an accomplished international athlete and represented Ireland in the discus at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Bob Barton has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive and car rental industries. As the Senior Vice President of Global Franchise Operations for The Hertz Corporation, Bob oversees 500 franchises in 130 countries.
Bob is a past president of the American Car Rental Association and the 2009 recipient of the Russel Bruno Award. Based in Florida, Bob represented the rental industry on the Congressional Travel and Tourism Caucus and testified before the FTC on competition in the car rental industry.

Eugene O’Reilly Jr. is a seasoned financial professional with an exceptional track record in the automotive, car hire and sustainable energy industries – both in Ireland and internationally.
Having been the Financial Controller of Europcar Ireland and Hyundai Cars Ireland for a combined eight years, Eugene is well-versed in the car hire and automotive industries. During his time in Hyundai, the brand obtained the highest market share of any European country and, indeed, the highest electric vehicle market share in Ireland.
Specialising in financial and technical analysis and business development, Eugene trained as a Chartered Accountant in PriceWaterhouseCoopers before working in Treasury for a leading NASDAQ sustainable energy company in the United States.
